Wednesday Season 2 Commences With A Chilling Start

Snap snap. With September on the horizon it is time to step into more of a spooky vibe to set the scene for the leaves changing, and what I believe is the best time of the year. Wednesday season 2 arrived onto the streaming service Netflix on August 6th 2025, delivering the first four episodes that hardcore Tim Burton fans (like myself), and Addams Family experts alike couldn't wait any longer for.
Starting the season off we see Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, connecting with her spiritual powers, and working to take out a serial killer who is scalping his victims to make dolls out of their hair. With her right hand body part, Thing, assisting her along the way, we eventually see Wednesday return to Nevermore, rejoining her classmates like Enid (Emma Meyers), Bianca (Joy Sunday) and Ajax (Georgie Farmer). With a new headmaster in charge (Steve Buscemi), who seems slightly off putting, he ends up allowing Gomez (Luis Guzmán) and Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones) to stay on the schools property inside Rotwood Cottage, which last season we saw was occupied by character Marilyn Thornhill. Morticia is tasked to fundraise the gala, and Headmaster Dort is hellbent to get Morticia's mother (Joanne Lumley) to donate to the event.

With Wednesday's brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez) joining the school, we see a lot of new faces roaming the halls. Including Billie Piper who plays the head of the music department at Nevermore Acadamey, Isadora Capri. As well as Wednesday's biggest fan Agnes DeMille, portrayed by Evie Templeton, she is an outcast that comes in hand to Wednesday's plans as she has the ability to turn invisible. We also look deeper into Willowhill, an insane asylum for outcasts where last seasons antagonist Tyler Gaplin (Hunter Doohan), is being held and monitored for his Hyde abilities.

With a riff between Wednesday and Morticia, a zombie on the loose, and packs of crows murdering people with connections to Wednesday and Nevermore, Wednesday must learn and harness her psychic abilities in order to make sure no one else gets hurt. With every high paced event comes more turmoil in Wednesday life, and without spoilers to how the end of part one completes, it is a tough go as to what lies next in Wednesday's life in order to save the people she truly cares about.
Season 2 part 2 of Wednesday continues on September 3rd 2025. With a cameo from Lady Gaga, and the release of a new song for the season, this is a finale you do not want to miss. You can watch the trailer for part 2 below:
