Abronia Releases New Album Shapes Unravel

Originally from Portland, Oregon, this six piece band released their new LP, Shapes Unravel, back in February. This album is full of unique songs that captivate the listener with all sorts of different sounds. Each song has a unique use of woodwinds, durums, brass instruments, guitars and bass. The melodies are very psychedelic giving it character. No two melodies are the same and no two songs have the same feel to them. Some give off laid back and chill vibes while others are dark and eerie feeling. This album is captivating in a way I have never experienced. Abronia may not be everyone’s cup of tea but they are not trying to be. They are unique in every way possible and you can feel that when playing Shapes Unravel.
